What are the Dodgeball Zero controls on PC?

Listing text, October 29, 2026. Hold means hold. Release throws. These are not tap-to-throw binds from other sports games.

E HoldCurve Ball

Charge is the throw

M1 Hold is Charge / Throw Ball. You do not get a separate “throw key.” E Hold is Curve Ball and only matters while a charge is live. Space + Hold M1 is Slow Fall While Charging — air only, while still holding the charge. Drill that on throwing.

What are Dodgeball Zero controls on Xbox and PlayStation?

Default layout from the listing. Move left stick, camera right stick. Throw is a trigger hold, not a face-button tap.

Shoulders versus face buttons

Default Dash is RB / R1. Default Slide is LB / L1 while running. Ability is Y / △. Interact is X / □. If your pad “dash” is on X, you are not on default — read Classic next.

What does Classic layout change?

Settings > Controller > Button Layout. Classic remaps Dash and Slide only. Throw, curve, ability, and Style Skill stay on their default controls.

Why Classic exists

Face-button dash is easier for some players than bumpers. It also steals the default Interact button (X / □). If menus feel odd after you switch, that is the trade. Classic listing remap: Dash X / □, Slide B / ○.

Why do Dodgeball Zero keys do nothing?

Chat focus eats M1, Q, C, and G. Click the court. Shift lock is Left Alt (D-pad left on pad), not Caps Lock from another game.

SymptomCheck
No throwChat focus · not holding M1 / RT
No curveE / LT not held during the charge
No dashQ vs Classic X/□ · chat focus
No slideC vs Classic B/○ · must be running on pad default
No abilityNo kit equipped · G / Y still the bind
Camera stuckShift lock Left Alt / D-pad left

Emotes are not a throw

B (D-pad right) opens emotes. That is cosmetic. Leaderboard is D-pad up. Neither is a combat bind. Titles and emotes: cosmetics.

What is Style Skill on controller?

Listing: click RS / R3. Ability itself remains Y / △ (G on PC). Effect text is TBA. Do not paste Style Skill names from other Roblox sports games.

PC has G, not a listed Style key

The PC listing names G as Use Ability. It does not print a separate Style Skill key. If a recap invents a PC Style bind, treat it Unverified until the listing updates. Ability page: abilities.

Which Dodgeball Zero binds should I drill first?

Learn order is binds → throw → move → ability. Ranked waits.

  • Do01Click off chat
  • Do02Hold M1 (or RT) until you mean to throw, then release
  • Do03Hold E (or LT) during a charge for a curve
  • Do04Q or RB dash off the line; Classic players use X/□
  • Do05C or LB-while-running slide; Classic uses B/○
  • Do06Leave G / Y until you own an ability

Next page

Throwing is the first mechanic that fails if you treat M1 as a tap. Open throwing next, then movement.
